This is
what I hear from so many people. Friends, neighbors, Facebook. I know it's true. It's happening right in front of me. I find myself constantly going back through Nathan's baby album looking at his newborn pictures, or all the pictures I've added to Facebook. I know I've got a lot to look forward to as he gets older. But I'm scared of losing my baby! All the moms of older children say "I don't remember mine that little." The first time I heard someone say that, I was determined that I would not forget. I set on a mission have my camera glued to my hand and not care about a dirty house or kitchen sink, just as long as I got to stare into Nathan's innocent baby face. "Basking in Nathanness," as my husband calls it :) Now he's older and not very content with staring back up at me, or even being held for a long period of time (unless he's sleeping). Time for another one? (JK) It's too bad babies are more like kittens and less like turtles or elephants. Give me a perpetual baby! I don't mind all the diaper changes. I don't. Really!!
